Karen M. Funchess began dancing four years ago with a group at her home church of New Light United Methodist Church in Orangeburg, SC.  Upon moving to Aiken, SC, she began ministering solo.  She has ministered at various functions such as weddings, wedding receptions, praise dance programs and gospel fests.  Karen has also ministered at various churches of many denominations.  Karen works with a total of seven dance ministries, including a senior citizen's praise dance ministry.  Not only is she available to minister through dance, she is also available to conduct praise dance workshops.  This young ladies favorite dance verse is "Praise Him with the timbrel and the dance!"
