Visited By Angels

I have a rare disease that has no cure and no known cause. It will probably shorten my life by several years. Since I was diagnosed I have turned it over to the Lord and have never let it get me down.  I went to visit my mother one day and had planned to go to K-Mart on the way home to pick up something for my granddaughter. For about a week I had been very down and letting the devil enjoy my pity party.  As I started home for no reason I pulled into a Wal-Mart parking lot thinking I would pick up the item there.

A van pulled up beside with two ladies inside. There is a bumper sticker on my car that reads STOP SCLERODERMA. The ladies asked me who in my family had the disease and I told them that I did. The elder lady went on to tell me her husband had died with this disease. I asked "would you mind telling me how long he had it?"  Expecting to hear 2 or 3 years, they both smiled and said 18 years!  Well, instantly I was encouraged!  I stood there talking to them for about 45 minutes and told them they had made my day. One of them gave me a business card, I slipped it in my purse and we vowed to keep in touch. 

When I arrived home, still uplifted, I called my sister and told her, "Guess what the Lord sent two angels to visit me today, not one but two!  I proceeded to tell her of my encounter and she said "What is her business?"  I said "Let me get her card."  I retrieved the card and said, "Sit down, you're not going to believe this."  Her business was named ANGEL IN MY POCKET!  Isn't God Good!
